AngelHouse Media presents Mirrors Volume 3
Reflections on God, Reflections of the World.
Interpretive (3:18)
" ...Eloi, Eloi, lama sabacthani" (My God, my God,
why have you forsaken me?) Jesus cries these words out
from the cross on the day we now remember as Good Friday.
But what are these words? Where did they come from?
Jesus was quoting scripture from the text we know as Psalm 22.
The rabbis knew it as the Death Psalm.
Discover the connection between the words
of Jesus from the cross and the 22nd Psalm.
Explore the depth of meaning behind His words.
Let the living word, the Psalms, guide, instruct, and
inspire today as always.
(note: A longer version of this film was previously released under the title of Psalm 22 (5:05). While this edited down version contains the same narration, the graphics have been enhanced, and the shorter length should make the film more service time friendly.)
